Empty waves, simple living, striking colours and vibrant smiles.
My love of traveling thrives on adventure, being surrounded by different ways of life in remote places with hit or miss phone signal. Even getting to the resort is an once in a life time journey, through vibrant bustling towns and baobab trees. Taxis, boat rides, 4x4 and a water buffalo ride, it’s more than safe to say that Madagascar stole my heart, I could never thank Ocean Mountain explorers enough for the experience.
Besides the perfect, empty waves, amazing gang of girls, pitcure perfect views and out of this world sunsets, It was the easy way of life that struck me. The local villagers, take out their colourful, carved boats with sails of old rice sacks stitched together, fish all morning then come home to enjoy their spoils with the rest of the village. They tend to their boats, have fires on the beach, music and boat races while the kids play in the sea paddling around on logs of wood. There is nothing more that they need to be happy. I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking.
